About Me:

I'm a warm, intelligent, and passionate woman who builds islands for a living, plays flute like a boss, and loves to dive with great white sharks – I'm equal parts engineering precision and adventurous spirit. My friends describe me as fiercely loyal, the ultimate problem-solver, and someone who always shows up when you need her most. Born in Syracuse, NY, I've now been a Florida girl for over four decades, where I learned to dive and discovered my love for marine exploration. While my education was in aerospace, I discovered my true calling when I was recruited into marine construction, where I could combine my engineering expertise with my lifelong love of the ocean. As a Senior Project Manager for a major engineering restoration project, I spend my days creating new ecosystems, managing everything from sand excavation to the final placement of mangroves that will transform waterways for generations. I'm the proud mother of two amazing kids – my 19-year-old daughter who's musically and artistically gifted, and my 12-year-old son who's thoughtful and loves basketball. I was raised with traditional values of loyalty, dedication, and family, learning early that there are no shortcuts to success, and if you want something, you go out there and make it happen. Life's too short for boring weekends, bad bourbon, or settling for anything less than extraordinary – I believe in living fully, loving deeply, and always having your next adventure planned.

What I Enjoy:

My greatest passion is scuba diving and underwater exploration – as a certified divemaster, I've done baited shark dives and even had the incredible opportunity to dive with the Discovery Channel team at Guadalupe Island. There's nothing quite like being 60 feet underwater with great white sharks to remind you what it means to be truly alive! I also love ice skating, hiking, boating, and basically any activity that gets me outdoors and connects me with the natural world I work so hard to protect and restore. Music is huge in my life – I'm a semi-professional flute player who practices for hours when inspiration strikes. I enjoy everything from classical to jazz, plus live performances ranging from Broadway shows to intimate jazz venues where music connects me to something larger than myself. I absolutely adore traveling and believe in doing it right – exploring new cities, trying incredible restaurants, exploring cultural museums, and planning adventurous expeditions like my upcoming trip to Norway. I enjoy cooking for people I care about – there's something magical about creating a beautiful meal from scratch and perfecting the art of bourbon mixology at my fully stocked home bar, paired with great conversation! My Disney obsession is completely unapologetic – I love the creativity, nostalgia, and pure joy of theme parks (not to mention getting genuinely excited about finding the perfect pair of Mickey Mouse ears). A quiet night at home might find me enjoying a perfectly crafted cocktail while listening to jazz or simply relaxing on my beautiful new deck. I believe in creating moments of peace and beauty in the midst of a busy life.
